THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Technical Sales Engineer who thrives at the crossroads of engineering and customer engagement. In this remote role, you’ll serve as the technical backbone of our sales team. You know the electric utility world: SCADA protocols, substation architecture, IEDs, and the complex needs that come with keeping the grid running. You translate that knowledge into winning proposals, compelling demonstrations, and trusted customer relationships.
This role requires 50–70% travel — you’re comfortable on the road (or in the air) and energized by face-to-face time with customers and at industry events.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Product & Technical Support
Become a go-to expert on Orion, Bitronics, and Kronos products and their real-world applications
Support customers with product integration and technical questions throughout the sales cycle
Provide hands-on technical support to field sales during active pursuits
Proposals & Customer Engagement
Lead and contribute to Bid & Proposal activities, including RFI and RFP responses
Develop and deliver product demonstrations that speak to both technical and non-technical audiences
Support customer presentations, trade events, and product exhibits alongside the field sales team
Contribute technical content to marketing materials and customer system proposals
Trade Shows & Training
Represent NovaTech’s product portfolio at industry trade shows and exhibitions
Deliver customer training at events and on-site as needed
