Position Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the full accounting cycle: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with NIIF/IFRS and Peruvian GAAP (PCGA).
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors (SUNAT compliance), and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor cash flow, manage budgets, and generate variance analysis reports for senior management.
- Reconcile monthly accounting records for the processing and registration by the main accountant.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity.
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships, contracts, and procurement processes.
- Oversee office operations including document management, regulatory filings, notarial processes, and logistics management.
- Develop and improve administrative policies, SOPs, and workflows to drive operational efficiency.
- Support HR-related administrative functions including payroll coordination and employee records management.
- Prepare executive-level financial reports and presentations in English and Spanish for senior leadership and HQ stakeholders.
- Act as the primary liaison between Lima operations and international headquarters on financial and administrative matters.
- Translate financial data and operational updates accurately between English and Spanish as required.
- Participate actively in cross-departmental meetings and contribute strategic insights on cost control and efficiency improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Contabilidad), Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. CPC (Contador Público Colegiado) certification is a plus.
- Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in accounting roles, over 2 years of exposure to administrative roles, preferably within multinational or mid-to-large Peruvian companies.
- Demonstrated experience in working with multidisciplinary areas.
- Intermediate proficiency in accounting software or similar ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
- Familiarity with NIIF/IFRS and Peruvian PCGA accounting standards.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and HR administrative processes in Peru.
- Spanish: Native or full professional proficiency — written and spoken.
- English: High proficiency (B2–C1 level or above) — capable of drafting reports, leading meetings, and communicating with international stakeholders fluently.
